Another thought - how about them doing  a show called 'LADY TO LADETTE', where several posh girls are tought how to drink themselves into a stupor, bare various parts of their bodies in public, swear like troopers and be genuinely obnoxious!  Now THAT I would love to see!

BTW - One of this year's ladettes (Becky - the girl who had sex with practically anything that moved) is in this week's 'Closer' magazine - she's travelling in Austrailia and is making her way through the male population at a worrying speed!  Obviously, she hasn't learned anything from her Eggleston Hall experience - and still thinks it's big and clever to brag about her sexual conquests!

Oh great, thanks Joanne!

Louise and Fran were on GMTV on Wednesday. Fran came across as really lovely, but Louise hardly said anything!

Could somebody please give me a quick update as I missed it on Thursday and for some reason there wasn't any article about it on the News forum, I can't think why!

There were five Ladettes left after week 3's 'explusion':-

Clara
Fran
Laura
Louise
Vickie

The Ladettes' task in week 4 was to host a house party at Eggleston Hall.  After some much needed last minute tuition (Louise lost her temper in sewing class and was sent out of the room), the staff left the Ladettes 'Home Alone' (apart from a household staff, including a butler) for their house party.

As the guests arrived, the Ladettes (several who'd already had a drink or two to steady their nerves) stepped into the role of hostesses.  All seemed to be doing well, except Louise, who was clearly the worse for wear.  After an embarrasing display during the after dinner 'games' session, Louise tried to enter one of the men's bedrooms.  Fran (who had been put 'in charge' of the Ladettes) tried to get her to come to bed, but Louise 'kicked off' (literally) and a catfight ensued.

The following morning, Jill Harbord arrived (having been summoned by the bemused butler) to try and find out what happened (why she didn't just ask to see the film of the previous evening's 'fight', I don't know).  After speaking to Fran and Louise, she decided (rightly) that Louise was to blame for what happened and 'Invited' her to leave!

Once that was done, the house party resumed and a good time was had by all.

After the final assesments, Laura was 'Invited to Leave'.

The final three Ladettes are Clara, Fran and Vickie.

Thanks for that Joanne, it sounds as if I missed a good one. I have just noticed that it's repeated on ITV2 tonight but not sure I'll be able to stay awake that late!

From the beginning of the series I was really hoping that Louise would be able to pull it round but it became clear fairly early that she would never be able to do it. I think the right three are in the final, they are the ones who do deserve to be there. I am looking forward to Thursday Clap

I was just watching a documentary on TV.  During the commercial break an ad came on for a lads' mag.  Apparently, Louise is posing topless in this week's issue!

Clearly, she's learned nothing from her experience on 'Ladette To Lady'!

Oh dear, silly silly girl!

I did actually manage to stay up late enough to see the repeat last night. It was a real TV night for me - Mastermind, University Challenge, Hell's Kitchen and finally Ladette to Lady - three hours straight, that's nearly as much as I usually watch in a week! I'm really glad I watched it, it was a good episode and I'm looking forward to Thursday! Clap

Yes I'm glad it was those three but I was a bit worried Fran might have ruined her chances by getting her boobs out in the pub!

I wasn't sure about her either or about Vicky, but I really warmed to them both and I'm so glad they are in the final. As for Clara, I loved her right from the start, she's a real classy girl and such a sweetie too. I'd love her to win it but my only reservation is whether she really deserves to win because I'm not at all sure that she was such a "ladette" to start with when all of the others definitely were. There's a little niggle in the back of my head that is saying she shouldn't win because she didn't really have any distance to go whereas the others had a heck of a lot to do. Dilemma!!!

Agree with you 100% Dee. Clara has been my favourite but I don't believe she was a 'ladette' just not a girly girl. I don't think she really deserves to win either, but I have a feeling she may...I love Vicky too but I think of the three of them I would really like Fran to win

I think of the three Vicky perhaps deserves it most, but I would like Fran to win too. And Clara

I saw the show for the first time today. I think they need a much longer training course for any of then to become ladies.

The one who was drinking too much may have become a suitable candidate if she could have learned to control her elbow.

I agree, they don't have nearly long enough. From the beginning I kept hoping that the Louise (the one who gets so drunk) would manage to turn things round for herself. The sad thing is that she understood exactly what her problem was and appeared to want to change, but just didn't seem able to manage it.

SPOILER

So Victoria has been declared the winner - bit of a surprise, but we never did think that Clara had "travelled" far enough, did we?    She was halfway there to start with, just didn't have much female company.  With her looks and what she has learned, she will be absolutely fine.

Fran improved enormously but let herself down by exposing her boobs last week  - but she has now got a job as a recruitment consultant which could lead to a really good career for her, so she's done okay too.

Hope that Vicky can keep up what she has learned - apparently she is resitting A levels and going to nursing college - hope the student atmosphere doesn't send her back to her old drinking habits.   cheers

That's all I have to say, must have another few glasses of wine now......

Yes, congratulations to Victoria!!!

All three girls did really well and looked beautiful at the ball!

I hope they all do well in their new careers and don't return to their old ways!

Interesting that Clara has decided to be a Chalet girl - with her language skills and resourcefulness, I'm sure she'll do well!

It would be nice to get a follow-up documentary on the ladettes (especially the top 3) from this series...and maybe also the last series.
