I've watched a couple of series now and found them quite entertaining. I only caught the show by accident as I didn't know it was back on and I have to say  this bunch have to be the absolute worst ever. They are absolutely dreadfully awful seriously - I mean being banned from every pub in your town...that's something to be proud of? do these people really live like this or have they been made to look worse than they are for the sake of the program? Do they have auditions? I'd have sent them ALL home and got a new lot.

I'm gobsmacked 

(I must admit - I'll probably tune in to see how they're improving...if that's possible )

I loved the Mrs Hardcore thing as well But my favourite has to go to Simone this week when she was having her review and said to Mrs Brewer "all the others are lovely and supportive, but you, i dont know where they got you from"

We have recently finished the third series. I missed the first series. 

If you like Ladette to Lady jayel you might want to look out for another similar sort of programme which ran here just over a year ago - ASBO Teen to Beauty Queen. (I don't know if you have ASBOs in Australia it stands for 'anti-social behaviour order' and is about as useful as a chocolate teapot ) We have a board about it in the Archive section:

Don't they also do a similar programme in Australia, called something like 'Australian Princess' with Paul Burrell advising on etiquette? I'm sure I have caught snatches of that on ITV2

Yes they do - I've seen bits of it on ITV2!  They also do a US version called American Princess!

There is an Aussie princess  program, but I've never watched it.
