It's difficult to choose because we didn't see all that much of them last night, but there's much more on the website with a good selection of application viseos and audition videos. I haven't watched all of them yet but of the ones I have seen (and the ones featured on last night's first episode) I liked Only Men Aloud (Drunken Sailor) and Hear Me Now (the one whose MD, Maggie, adores Russell )

she's hard to spot as she seems to always try to hide from the cameras, but she's my dad's cousin's daughter.
if you go to the bbc last choir standing website gallery under callbacks she is the 5th person from the left on the back row wearing a purple top! or if you look at their application video, she is the 3rd from the left.

Yep, I'm with lilhinni_jo Ysgol Glanaethwy seem the class act to me, and tick the most boxes. Only Men Aloud seem entertaining enough to me...... and it's between them and ACM for the 2nd + 3rd places. + + + = The Bath Male choir (Dunno why Russell enthuses over them so much ?) Isn't this the choir with the pompous bearded MD who seems like a right know-it-all ......... Can't remember the other choir, so they're obviously in-offensive but un-noticeable

It's Only men Aloud! for me that has been my favourite choir right from the start, with Ysgol Glanaethwy second and then probably ACM, Bath and Revelation in that order.

Ysgol Glanaethwy I'm with you on this. Superb Choir. I wanted the choir from Liverpool to go further but, since they've gone, I'm backing Ysgol Glanaethwy and hope that they are the Last Choir Standing!

Ysol thingybobbys for me ... Class fodder, mixed with entertaining fodder, mixed with likeability, mixed with Not-Getting-On-My-Nerves-Ever.......... means they are the Stand Out act for me. ACM and Men Aloud to fill the silver and bronze medal positions for me in either order. Revelation are becoming a tad repetitive for me, as is Sharon's biasous..ous....ness As pleasant as they once sounded, a few weeks ago.... I'm afraid they don't anymore.... and for me.... If I want to hear more of this sound , I'll start going back to church on Sundays...

Just incase anyone is interested and liked ACM Gospel Choir, they've got an album out on i-tunes with most of the songs they sang on last choir standing.

Sorry but I totally disagree on all coubnts. Revelation should not have survived the first vote IMHO, and certainly should never have got through from the semi final.
I didn't think that fat boy even had the best voice in Revelation but that his brother was better (but not that good).

Revelation were too samey, they had no variation and they relied too much on David with the rest of the choir as backing singers. I thought ACM was much the better of the two gospel choirs.

I'm torn between Only Men Aloud and Ysgol Glanaethwy That was how I felt on finals night. However, when the winner was announced I was surprised to find that I was severely miffed and since then I've gone back to YT again and again and just about every other night to listen to Ysgol Glanaethwy. Those kids are brilliant! They might perhaps lack some of the polish of Only Men Aloud but they are vibrant, fresh, passionate and just exude life. Talk about the joy of music. I'm an addict. lol
