There are four choirs left and this is the last time the judges will have the chance to save Revelation

^ And despite the judges comments I think that Revelation will need some form of divine intervention to survive tonight. If the voting was actually based on the performances they would be in the sing off with ACM (IMHO) but I am not sure that it will actually go that way. ACM seemed below par to me and when their two numbers were played back to back in the reprise they sounded remarkably similar, Ysgol Glanaethwy's attempt at another Queen song was chorally OK but the soloist was always fighting a losing battle to compete with the remarkable vocalist of the original. Which leaves Only Men Aloud! - who were again the outstanding choir on the night (again IMHO)

It's a lot more difficult to call this evening.
I thought Revelation would be out until they sang I Wanna Know What Love Is at the end. That was probably the most innovative performance of the evening and could well get them enough votes to see them through.
ACM Gospel Choir were the weakest choir this evening and I think they will probably be in the bottom two. Ysgol Glanaethwy are the most consistently good but a Queen song without a Freddie Mercury voice is just asking for comparisons - but both songs were good although never reaching their best from previous weeks. The Rhythm of Life shouldsee them through though.
My guess is that Only Men Aloud will be in the bottom two later on. They were below par compared with last week and made two poor song choices.
If I'm right and Only Men Aloud and ACM are in the sing-off then I assume the judge with a towel on her head will save the gospel choir which will mean that the other two would both have to vote for Only Men Aloud to put them through. I think they would though.

My gast has never been so flabbered. Revelation getting voted through to the final is probably one of the biggest travesty's ever!! I was also totally surprised that the judges were unanimous in their voting to save Ysgol Glanaethwy at the expense of ACM.

Revelation through to the final. They should have been gone weeks ago.

The two Welsh choirs have been the strongest and most consistent so far - but Revelation delivered the best performance in the first show. And they were up last just before the phone lines opened.
I was surprised that Sharon didn't vote for ACM. Maybe she does listen.
Let's hope the choirs up their game next week in the final.

^ I have said that all along with Ysgol Glanaethwy second. Only Men Aloud! have been my favourites since the beginning and I still think they are head and shoulders above the rest. I can't believe Revelation got more votes than Ysgol Glanaethwy I thought ACM were messy this week and deserved to be in the bottom two. Revelation deserved to be there too (again) because although 'I wanna know what love is' was a slightly better standard than their previous offerings (could that be because for once David was not made star of the show???) they still don't come up to ACM's standard overall. Incidentally, has anyone else noticed that the Revelation men are multiplying? First there was David, then they brought in his brother Trevor (who is a far far better singer than David) and last night there was a third mystery man in the line-up

The viewers are probably voting according to the performances on the night. Despite the dross in previous shows I thought Revelation gave the best performance yesterday and they sang just before the lines opened.
The Ysgol Glanaethwy sound is rather relentless and they need songs which suit their voices. Queens songs are good but they can't do them justice. I suspect they will fail to find suitable songs for the final but on the other hand they could be saving them up.

Sorry but I have to disagree about Revelation. I felt that they were no better than in previous weeks and still hurt my ears when they had their "screech" part. IMHO they were the worst of the 4 choirs and should have made it a hat trick of sing off appearances. I can only think that they got a sympathy vote.

It was pretty obvious to me The Judges showered REVELATION to bits... and they got through , on the night, deservedly. They shudda been out WEEKS ago The new guy singer was by far the ONLY Soloist who did his job right amongst ALL the choirs.... the others Blew it !! REVELATION are in the final on the strength that the other choirs made a town-halls of it at the final hurdle. Sharon is fanatical for them... ... so I'm hoping they don't win it..... but the Welsh mob need to UP their game if they're gonna win it....NO more soloists... ..... and the Men Allowed mob do my head in... ... they are SO SO SO weak as a choir..... I want to hear that other mob come back and sing SPIDERMAN again.... that was my highlight

Gotit in one Mikey - Spiderman was the higlight of the whole series !!
It was all a bit surreal tonight - didn't think Revelation were any better than usual, but the judges' comments were....unexpected !!!
And on that basis the result wasn't a shock - but IMO the wrong gospel got through (cos of course they couldn't both get through - this is the BBC!!)
Very disappointing - I am now very sceptical of the results process.......

The two Welsh choirs are my favourites boyo. I think the winners will be the ones with the best performances tomorrow.
None of the choirs have made the best song choices they could have during the series but Ysgol Glanaethwy have been the most consistent but are more limited in what they can do. So they either make a poor choice or sound a bit like the one before. They could astound with say an Era track but I doubt their choices will be that good. I go for Only Men Aloud who can use songs creatively so they really suit the choir.

^^ Revelation may have had their best night (which I am not sure about) but it was still a lot worse than any of the others. There was no way they should have gone through.
Only Men Aloud! have been the outstanding choir throughout and Ysgol Glanaethwy have been by far the next best of the three finalists. Hopefully Revelation will be the first out but will still finish far nearer the top than they merit.
