Audition Process

I have telephoned twice and registered for an audition, but I cannot figure out how the people picked for aditions are going to be selected. Are the Xfactor people just going to stick a pin in a list of applicants from various areas? Are they going to select by means of eenie - meenie - minie-mo? I feel that real talent, great singers, and people with great potential are going to be overlooked by these methods. Why can't they audition EVERYONE who applies? Anyway....... we'll just have to sit with our fingers crossed for now......... break a leg to anyone who's successful!!!

i've called for an auditon aswell, i'm hoping the message on the automated service is just to keep them safe, incase they get too many calls, as there has never been a show like this open to all ages before, well maybe michael barrymore, but if you were a dedicated singer songwriter, would you have entered his programme, and fame academy only had the age group up to 35, it is probably a bit of trial and error for them. i'm 38 and estactic i may have a chance to auditon, i've been working hard for years, and always miss out due to age, and when i was younger i wasn't good enough, so i'm a great fan of anyone who is brave enough to change the industry and give the outsiders a chance. lets hope everyone who truly deserves an audition ,gets a call, but hey if we don't, if your gonna sell music your day will come, simon cowell can't change that. he's not god!!!! :rolleyes:

IVE HAD A REPLY AND WHAT THEY DO IS SEND YOU FOR AN AUDITION IN DESIGNATED AREAS AND YOU THEN HAVE TO TRY AND GET THROUGH THAT IF YOU GO ON THE SITE..POP IDOL X FACTOR IT TELLS YOU WHAT AND HOW THEYRE DOING IT, GOOD LUCK AND I HOPE I AM PICKED WHEN I AUDITION   :partytime:  :angelic:
