They don't have to be the winners.. just favourites, then we can wallow in some nostalgia  I think when you isolate some of them from the actual contest there have been some pretty good songs over the years. I think on the actual night we end up overdosing on them all.

I love both Vicki Leandros songs. That was when Eurovision was at its best.

It only became 'Come What May' after she won and put out an English version. The Eurovision winning song was actually called Après Toi and it's that French song that I meant as my favourite.

Interesting, ALW was mentioning Riverdance a lot as well during the tv shows when giving examples of worldwide Eurovision successes. I wonder if he realised that they were never an entry, just an act while waiting for the results.

Jonny Logan was one of my favourites as well.. Jonny Logan  What's Another Year is my fave, I wasn't so keen on his second winning song.
