Oh.  Unsure  Wild Horses is a real favourite of mine, and Susan sings beautifully, but it's been given a "musical theatre" stylee arrangement ... and as I really dislike that sort of thing, on the whole I don't like it.

I'm not keen.  The song seems dreary and there's no sense of Susan connecting with the lyrics.

The song is nice, I just don't like her voice at all.

Making her debut performance Stateside, SuBo wowed the audience of America's Got Talent, the U.S. version of the show which propelled her to fame.

The Scottish spinster, 48, was given a standing ovation as she performed I Dreamed A Dream and her new single, Wild Horses, a cover of the Rolling Stones song.

The audience loved her.  I think she will be huge when her album comes out.

Really pleased for her.

The tracks from Susan's first album have been released today.

'Wild Horses'
'I Dreamed A Dream'
'Cry Me A River'
'How Great Thou Art'
'You'll See'
'Daydream Believer'
'Up To The Mountain'
'Amazing Grace'
'Who I Was Born To Be'
'Proud'
'The End of The World'
'Silent Night'

Daydream Believer is certainly a surprise.  I am assuming it is the same one as the Monkey's sang.

Sharon Osbourne has attacked Britain's Got Talent star Susan Boyle on American radio, claiming the singer looked like a "slapped arse".

Pots and kettles spring to mind. After all she is no oil painting. and at least Susan Boyle has a talent - which is more than can be said for Osbourne.

I like Sharon Osbourne but I really wish she would engage her brain before she speaks.
Looks aren't everything; just look at her daughter Kelly

'Fame was like a steam-roller it flattened me': Susan Boyle on that breakdown – and why she’s determined it won’t happen again.

I did see some pictures of her sucking her thumb and did think now what, she was a bit erraic on XF and yes she can sing, I do not personally like her style, it just does not connect for me,, it is just words sung,, but like Leona I cannot deny her vocal talent.. but I just wonder if she can cope with this adulation and fame...

I know, Lena was amazing   How very sad when people are not listening to what a person is going thru.   Did you see the documentray "Remembering Lena Zavaroni"? Truly sad.

Susan Boyle’s first album has become the fast-selling début album in UK chart history.

I Dreamed A Dream sold 410,000 copies in its first week, beating the previous record holder Leona Lewis.

It is also the fourth biggest first week sales for any artist album in chart history

The hype alone would not make record sales like that.

I am thrilled for her. It is a fantastic album, so well produced in such a short time.  Good luck to her.
