It doesn't actually say bk, though it says music from The Enemy not music from Jade She won't be performing on Saturday Kitchen, they never do on that Jonathan Ross is joined by Eurovision Svengali Lord Andrew Lloyd Webber, and this year's British hope, Jade Ewen.
Guests also include Gavin and Stacey star Rob Brydon and supermodel turned best-selling novelist Sophie Dahl, plus there's music from The Enemy.

Well she may as well get her TV apperances in now before she gets zero at the comp and ends up back serving tables somewhere How the BBC got away with rigging that comp I will never understand, its such a shame building up the poor girls hopes when IMO she simply isnt that good,

To each their own, and I'm sure they didn't rig it. Then again I'm still sure no one voted

As i said in the other thread Celiene Dion is Canadian. Why would Leona Lewis want to do eurovision? She doesn't need to promote herself to Europe and it would be a huge step back for her

Oh i really like this song. It's a very 'winner of the X Factor' type song with some big music from Sir Lloyd Webber.
The big notes are great but im not sure if she will put those off on the night. If she does, well, we could at least get a couple more than 0 points!

theres nothing wrong with singing on that show. it dont matter if celine dion is from the usa or russia she could sing for united kingdom if she wanted to.

I can't help feeling a bit sorry for Jade because in every interview I have seen she does come across as a genuinely nice person, and although none of the blatant rigging of 'Your Country Needs You' was her fault she is the one who gets a lot of the stick for it. I hate the song, I hate the way the competition was rigged, but I'm starting to like Jade a great deal and I wish her well.

I feel worse when people say 'You're definately going to win' and stuff like that because it's not really up to her or us. It's up to the rest of Europe, most of whom vote for their neighbours I was on her myspace and some of her songs aren't too bad and would do much better in Eurovision I think.

Well I watched the first semi last night and when you compare our awful effort to the likes of Iceland or Malta I don't think we deserve to even be in the final.
Unless ALW can rig the voting like he did to get Jade as our entry then she will be languishing at the bottom of the board all night waiting for Malta to give us a point.

Heres her rehersal http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7ldCuQhnPyE I cant make myself come on board with her, I just cant. Its not her fault its Webbers. actualy its indicative of the arrogance of the man that he has had stand ins doing his role in rehersals. Mind you how much practice do you need to mime playing the piano. It also dosent help that I hate singers who make loud breathing noises, most of which seem to think them gasping for air is part of their entertainment factor, it isnt and its very off putting. I remember a comment on here from a member saying well its just as welkl she now has a few months to make this song sound good, I wonder if like me they think she hasnt improved. The key change at the end puts her in to a screechy range of her voice that just isnt nice on the old ear lugs. I did chuckle when the bloke on Beebs morning shoiwing rattled off her CV saying she appeared in Holdby Casualty blah blah a record contract blah blah all of which was why she was the ringer in the first place and they should of just not wasted the other poor spuls time pretending getting this gig was a competition when Webber had already reselected who was to win. (I really must let this lgo now )

Article/interview in today's Mail: She says she never confronted Lord Lloyd-Webber about his comments on the Jonathan Ross Show. She shrugs. 'I just said to him: "Whatever, Andrew." ' LINKThere is also a documentary at 6:20pm tomorrow on BBC1: Graham Norton guides us through Jade's journey as she embarks on a whirl of interviews, TV appearances, recording studios, stylists, behind the scenes at the shooting of her music video and numerous TV appearances all over Europe.

Watching the rehearsal video on Youtube I'm mainly disappointed in the arrangement of the song. ALW promised they would do some more work on it but it seems they haven't really - in fact they've made it even more boring. Jade's voice does sound better, she's fairly in tune and her voice sounds stronger than it did. The heavy breathing is making me hyperventilate though when I listen to it and I really don't get why they're letting her sing like this - it's become even worse than before. Maybe they like the RnB sound of it. I think Jade is doing the best she can and she does have talent, but this boring song is not helping her and the boring choreography neither. If you do a song like this, at least let her just stand still and tell us the song - but I guess she's not good enough to tell the story like that, just standing there - it takes a very good singer/actor to do that. The song starts out promising but ust does not deliver - they let her do the big notes at the end but there is no support for it from the big notes. I don't think the voting public will go for this but you never know, I might be wrong. I won't be in tonight to see it unfortunately but look forward to reviewing the results with everyone here afterwards!

We wont get zero points, I'm sure we'll get at least one from all the judges and votes Jade deserves to do better than some of the other people from the last 5 or so years, the shame of it is that it's just politics now Mind you, I don't think we've done anything to great irritate many of the other countries this year have we?

^^ Unless they blame our banking system for the credit crunch!
I don't know if they have just been talking up Jade's chances but her tour of Europe with the song seems to have gone quite well. With ALW on piano accompanying her on stage that might just generate a few more votes and with an expert panel in each country providing half the votes to the public phone lines we may do better than expected.
Here's hoping anyway.
