I noticed Jade nearly ended up being poked in the throat by his bow Have enjoyed it tonight actually and Graham Norton has impressed me as well. I think he's doing a great job

Jade almost got speared but did well to carry on.
Good show all round, liked Denmark and Portugal (for some reason).

Aww that's a bit mean Spawn I really like the song - I'm a big fan of ALW and his stuff, but I don't think it was right for Eurovision. Unfortunately for Jade (who is very talented...and did a great job) there are much bigger voices in this year's show. Spawn...it was the violinist on her left , just as she was starting to come down the stairs....top marks to the girl for carrying on though...~I'm sorry but I did have a titter at that .... Maria Everyone is taking it so seriously this year - well, some more than others....(I mean the countries - not you lot on here )

I liked Norway, but I don't think they deserve to be winning by quite so much...
UK got a 12! YAY!

I don't know bk, I'm mystified too I really didn't get what all the fuss was about The lyrics were trite, the melody was very familiar so obviously lifted from somewhere, his voice is not very good at all and he has the most slappable face I've ever seen on a Eurovision entrant. Iceland should have won by a mile. When I said Moldova.....I meant Estonia...she has a beautiful voice... I did wonder I really liked Estonia

I'm guessing Norway got a lot since they were in every single result I think I agree on his slapability, mostly because he looks like the cringeful guy from High School Musical

^Duncan James announced the UK votes so I'm guessing he was one member of the UK jury. I missed Wogan I thought Graham Norton did OK, but not brilliant. He talked over things too much, and maths is definitely not his strong point so he should just keep quiet instead of trying to work out the scoreboard and getting it wrong all the time

I was expecting a lot worse for Nortan but he was alright. He was probably told to tone it down at times, but there were moments when he was quite good.

Norway was...................... DIRE!! If i could have had the casting vote it would have gone to Iceland.. she had a voice and she could sing.
Jade.. well done for getting in the top 5 although it was Very Sarah Brightman to me.. she is a great dancer and (Jade) and I think the song was all wrong and with the right song she could have been more creative
Greece............ sheesh.. dreadful, dire, embarassing. and coffee tables will never be the same again!!
One moot point.. why did 85% of the songs have this balkan type thing going on.. even Spain had this Balkan/Turkish/Greek thing going on..............

Presumably it was an attempt to secure a couple of points from Eastern Europe It didn't work though The new voting system was supposed to stop the neighbourly voting and I suppose it did work to some extent, but not entirely. There was still a lot of very predictable political voting.

I'm so confused, what did everyone see in Norway! I'm confused too - What did everyone see in our dire effort - There is No way that the UK should come 5th and Malta 22nd. I know the change in voting meant we were never going to end up with nil point but - 173 !! ALW must have been busy all week bribing the panelists...

Turkey did an eastern/western crossover song and that worked well. Acts won't get votes by doing crossover but it may help if it is done well. Some other acts copied bits of successful tracks into their acts - the Iceland song seemed to adapt Life for Rent and that helped it to second place.

Apart from the dire winning song the other low point for me was Norton. His attempts at Woganesque humour were pathetic and he added nothing - in fact he detracted from the whole sorry event.
