Don't know if anybody else saw it on TV last night, but there was a very amusing pantomime on BBC1 at 8PM.
The idea is that they take a well known and previously successful TV show and turn it into a farce.
This year it was based on The Restaurant.
The cast was as follows:
The fairy godmother/godfather granting wishes - Raymon Blanc
The overlooked genius young chef - Chris
The rude baddie - Nathan
The charming prince - James
The simpleton who always somehow gets it right in the end - JJ
The white witch - Sarah
The guy with his head shoved up his a*se - David

Although it was advertised as being cookery based, only one of the 4 'stars' actually did any cooking.
However, there were some really funny scenes:
Where JJ attempted to cook Risotto
Where JJ attempted (and somehow succeeded) to cook beef
Where JJ attempted to cook a souffle
Where Nathan asked a guest what they had ordered, and David almost burst into tears - sending Nathan up to his bedroom without any supper.
Where David almost burst into tears because a fork was slightly out of place
Where David almost burst into tears when a chair was slightly too close to the table

Can't wait to see what show the BBC turns into a pantomime next year.[/list][/list]
