Here goes my mini rant .... Im bored of the Hayley and Dan show. They didnt just have a 'stumble' like Mikey and Melanie, they had a full on fall. It doesnt matter who's fault it was and yes she was incredibly brave to continue with the headbanger, but i genuinely think there is favouritism and it doesnt impress me.

the hayley and dan show is exactly the right name for it. a full on splat fall not being penalised yet little wobbles and stumbles but still staying upright are being very marked down, it's not clear scoring . the headbanger alone should not be a given for good marks regardless. I think Hayley is good, but feel sometimes they are being pushed as a wonder couple. I felt bad when she fell, thinking it would affect her scores but it didn't really.

It was penalised by both Karen (0.5 points) and Robin (2 x 0.5 points) Those were the only two Holly spoke to, for all we know it might have been penalised by all of the other judges as well. I would much rather have the Hayley and Dan show than the Hillary Slow Motion show.

I agree Josie, I think Daniella is just as good, so why wasn't she offered the same move? We clearly heard Chris say that if Hayley didn't want it then they would offer it to Daniella, so she must have been up for it.

So Hayley was penalised a point here or there and yet Sinitta was chucked out of the whole competition for a much lesser error I concede that the rest of Hayley's routine was good - although I maintain the headbanging thing shows no particular skill on her part, just bravery - but I do agree that given her was the most obvious fall/stumble so far in the competition, her marks were definitely on the high side. She's obviously this year's chosen one, but I wonder if she's peaked too soon

So Hayley was penalised a point here or there and yet Sinitta was chucked out of the whole competition for a much lesser error Maybe if it had happened in a skate-off performance then Hayley would have been voted off too. You can't really compare the judges actions/reactions to a skate-off performance with their actions and reactions to a first performance. She's obviously this year's chosen one, but I wonder if she's peaked too soon Judging by the majority of the comments on this forum I'd say she stands no chance

Sinitta was in the bottom two thanks to the inanity of the public and she performed worse than Sharron in the skate off so there is no comparison in my mind. I presume that Hayley's marks were still reasonably high because the judges saw that the rest of the programme was better than most.

Sinitta for week one was given a fairly complicated move...... It just seems that others stumble and get penalized and another couple have a major fall and its all OK!

Nicky has lost the plot. No way was Heather better than Kieron in that skate-off!

Yes, I agree - Kieron was in a different league to Heather. Not sure what's wrong with Nicky this year There are rumours elsewhere on the internet that the guest judge is going to be Victoria Beckham

I thought Hayley's was still the only exciting routine of the night and while I was surprised the marks were so high, I can see that the judges might have given her even higher had it been a flawless performance, and they said as much. How Dr Hilary wasn't in the skate-off, I don't know - he can barely wobble across the ice to get off when they put him through!

I liked the routine and I love the song - but Brianne looked terrible! I thought that she looked as though she belonged in one of the singing trios from the 1940's

I absolutely hate watching anyone doing the headbanger
Me too - it is an irresponsible dangerous stunt and nothing to do with skating. One of these days someone is going to get concussion and maybe permanent brain damage, and then all the usual blame-dodging will start. Aren't there Health and Safety laws that cover things like this?
